Band EMPYROS was founded in Estonia at 2002. Band was guided by kinds of heavy music, which could combine not just speed and melodic at merging, but power and some agressive drive also. One of both guitarists, Roman has gravitated a Speed-Power direction, Alekso has prefered more rigid Thrash at the same time, and the Speed-Heavy-Thrash sound was obtained in result. It is why the songs don't contain one certain style in their contents. In 2007 year, a new bass player and drummer have joined the band, changing left in 2005 members, then band has started recording a first album "The Spectre of Ballantre". Frequent members changing hasn't allowed to make it earlier. Album was recorded at S.F.E.Records. It's a 8 tracks with a social theme lyrics. Now band is preparing and recording a stuff of following album, that'll contain about 9-10 songs, with ballade probably...

Listens to Heavy Metal at age 14, favourite bands are Metallica, Slayer, Napalm Death, and many, many others. Studied to play drums at first, vanished in rehearsals of local bands, investigating a different styles of performance. Then, has started playing guitar, his brother had two. Exactly, he explained a basic things, what have to do in heavy style. At summer 2002, has founded Empyros with Roman.

Started playing at age 15, using a guitar tabs of favourite bands like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Later - Hammerfall, Megadeth and many in such style. Certainly, a first instrument was acoustic guitar with, as later revealed, incorrect scale, nevertheless, a basic playing methods was learned on this. Since then, he decided to make attempts to play in a band, and a few later, has founded EMPYROS with his friend Alekso. Had a lot of self-studying, focusing on fast playing. Favourite styles are Heavy, Power, Speed, Thrash Metal, though, a little softer Hard Rock can be listened too.

Playing drums, after a some tries to sing. Continuous trainings and a huge desire have resulted in suggestion to play something heavy with his friends. Later, was a session drummer in a few bands. Having acquainted to Roman from Empyros, after appreciating their demos, has given a consent to join a band. Likes movies with a palpable part of action and some westerns of Eastwood epoch. And listens mainly Thrash, Death metal, but admits a classical Heavy also.

Listens to diverse Heavy music since 1997, from classic Rock to Thrashing underground. Eagerness to idols imitating, has caused to get a guitar in hands. Later, electric has changed an acoustic guitar, but everything has turned over in his life, when a old shabby bass was causally seen. It was red 4 string Ibanez, nothing else was prefered. Later, intention to join a several bands at once, was appeared.
